Abstract. This paper presents a universal control algorithm designed to guide an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to a specified altitude using various take-off methods: vertical, horizontal, catapult-assisted, and manual. The proposed methodology is based on an optimization approach utilizing the Krasovsky functional. Control actions are computed using a predictive model with control structure correction. Simulation results demon-strate the high convergence rate of the algorithm. The target altitude is achieved under different initial conditions. Plots of control inputs, switching times, and system dynamics confirm the adaptability of the proposed solution. The algorithm, with its ability to adjust control structure parameters, reduces dependence on infrastructural limitations and facilitates transitions between launch modes, making it a promising candidate for integration into automated UAV control systems.
