Abstract. This paper presents the results of an applied study aimed at developing a mathematical model for calculating the thermodynamic parameters of the Earth’s atmosphere and the wind speed components. The model is designed for subsequent integration into specialized computational software for use in rapid operational calculations. The model allows calculating average monthly values of meteoparameters (temperatures, pressure, density, wind speed components) for every spot on the globe. The solvency of model is confirmed with realization in computing systems of the products 3K and A2, results of practical tests of the products.
